Aristea ecklonii, an evergreen plant, is ideal for cultivation and is native to South Africa. The flowers open in the morning and last for one day, providing successive blooms for several weeks due to the long flowering stems.
How to plant
Plant the bulbs in well-draining soil in a morning sun and afternoon shade position. Plant the bulbs 3cm under the soil and 20cm apart. Water every 3-4 days if it has not rained.
